Iraqi F-16 flight-line visit

Got to go visit the 9th FS a few week's ago down at the AZ ANG Viper school house. I do apologize for my watermark being so clear and obvious some of these photos have been a big hit with the Iraqi government

It does look like the older 16S210 for sure - though I think the wing tip rails can be taken off physically whatever that involves, then presumably they might need wiring for a different interface (not sure) - if that is not already in place.

as far as I know they don't have amraam capability so they use the older missile rails. the rails can be removed and replaced with a few bolts. I don't know anything about wiring though. I just get to look at some the wings when they come in for refurbishment and they are stripped down to just the wing box structure.
