Gents,
I was a KC-135 pilot for almost 25 years. Kept my camera with me every time I flew. I was taking 30-50 rolls of Fujichrome 50 film a week during ops after 9/11. Most photos are jets armed with live weapons. Here are a few from my collection.
Mark
555th FS Emergency Defense Suppression (EDS) F-16CGs from Operation Northern Watch in late 2001.
13th FS tail 422 was a triple SAM killer during a Northern Watch deployment in late 2001.
This is a shot of Face's 510th Buzzards flagship in March 1999 during Allied Force.
353 was a MiG-29 killer during Allied Force.
And yes... this aircraft is named BOB! It's tail number is 808 but they blacken out the left corners of the tail number so it says BOB. The intake cover said "Bombs over Baghdad".

The Buzzard flagship in your photo up there went down a few years ago.

Operation Northern Watch picture taken by Combat Camera out the back of a KC-135.
Twenty four Desert Storm Vipers did not get pre-strike gas... the 1Lt first on my Boom had 800 pounds in the tanks!!!
Black Widows getting their energy drink during mirror strike training before Desert Storm kicked off.
