Does anyone know the tail number of the jet that was painted up for the NATO 50th Anniversary? This is the scheme featured in the Hasegawa 1:48 kit and the Revell-Germany 1:72 kit. Here is a link to the Hasegawa box art:

In all the photos I have seen there does not appear to be a tail number marking anywhere on this jet - does anyone know? (FA-??)

I don't know but maybe you could ask Reginald Lycke, he's the webmaster of the Belgian Air Component's Website. He could ask around. reginald.lycke@mil.be

habu2,

If I'm not mistaken that was the FA-60, which at the time (1999) was a 349 Sqn aircraft. This makes sense, since 349 was the first BAF squadron to receive the MLU.

Hope this helps,

stefaan

It's the FA60.
