Pressure increases on [Canada] to stay or leave F-35 program
madrat wrote:Is it civilian, military, or both leadership burning Canada's money like that?
It is interesting to see Canada dominated by foreign influence. It's almost a smaller version of the taint we see stateside.
Yup its getting scary in the states too.

Thought you people would like to see this. Its not about the F-35 though it is mentioned. It is however a glaring statement about the Canadian military apparatus...

"Alex McColl is a Defence Columnist with the Western Standard and a Canadian military analyst."
Just goes to show that anyone can be an analyst these days without any trace of credibility and background experience.

I'm seriously thinking I should be a defense journalist as a side gig. But I'm guessing most of these writers are being paid because they write sensationalist click bait articles, which I couldn't do.

Ouch! that gotta hurt! I wish there are more open minded people in BF4C. The Author happens to be in that group too. He is sort of like flat earther but for Jets. He claim to have access to a leaked dokuments of RCAF scenarios which he cherry picks and not tell the whole truth.

That Alex McColl guy is a moron and a clueless guy, period!
Since he likes "scenarios", I would propose a scenario just for him.
Put him flying in a simulator against a simulated threat with the following condition: If he dies in the scenario/simulator he will have to shoot himself in the head - basically he would have to die just like a REAL PILOT would! And just before flying that same simulated scenario he would be given the following choice:
1- Fly in a Gripen NG simulator
Or,
2- Fly in a F-35 simulator
Moreover and about his "top" comment:
Canadian taxpayers would be right to ask why the RCAF needs such an expensive first strike capability
How about he (Alex McColl) ask the RCAF pilot - who are ones putting in jeopardy their own lives so that morons like himself can freely post garbage - why they prefer the F-35 to any other aircraft, all of this before posting all the garbage that he write and/or plans to write!
“Active stealth” is what the ignorant nay sayers call EW and pretend like it’s new.
