Pressure increases on [Canada] to stay or leave F-35 program

A few (like Axel) are intelligent and fun to talk to (and digs up good info) even if they are eurocanard fans but they can get drowned out by the noise.
Yes, I definitely can understand that. Afterall most if not all "rules" have exceptions...
“Active stealth” is what the ignorant nay sayers call EW and pretend like it’s new.

I think Canada should invite Su-35 into next competition just for lulz. Two engines, long range, operates in SIBERIAN CLIMATE™, COMRADE. Did I mention it's super cheap and easily maintainable (ignore 2000 hour airframe life)? Would make for great DACT too...

There are a few to be sure. Avro Arrow is the worst of the bunch. He blocks anybody who supports the F-35, and calls them trolls in almost every post. Then he criticizes those who don't block the F-35 supporters. If he were on the Facebook group, Doug would have banned him long ago.
As you said, some are intelligent and fun to talk to. Axel is one. Harry is one. I rarely agree with their points of view, but at least we can have civil conversations.

You didn't mention that it wouldn't last 5 second vs your average 5th Generation Fighter post 2030.

Axel is one of the few posters on there that can actually back up his posts and is knowledgeable, which gives credence to his arguments. The rest are idiots. Even Harry is hugely ignorant and speaks of things he has no clue about.

Actually I partly blame disqus as a platform for the absolute lack of congenial tone and entrenched positions. I think several individuals would be amenable to a discussion if it could be done privately. Instead everything has to be out in the open and that encourages grandstanding and hardline positions, rather than moderation and malleability. Its kinda unfortunate actually.

Maybe modern aircraft are now out of reach for the RCAF.
Buying used 40 year old Hornets from Australia and now used VIP jets . . .
Sad times for the RCAF under the current Canadian Trudeau government.

So those who frequent the site, please refrain from insulting other users while there. This includes calling people idiots, morons, and trolls. That is all.
uh, I can safely say that I've been called all of those things on almost every post I've put up on there.

Yes, anyone who posted anything supportive of the F-35 would instantly be called a liar, etc etc. it’s good to see the place cleaned up.
