Pushing Boundaries: Inverted Negative G Missile Launch

"Flight test teams are accomplishing remarkable flight milestones as they work to finish SDD strong. The Pax River ITF recently completed an inverted AIM-9x missile launch. The pilot treated it similar to a positive G launch but rolled inverted to push to the negative G target before launch.
This unique missile launch is a situation we don’t expect a pilot to be in very often but as part of our SDD baseline, we have to prove the aircraft, and weapon, can operate at the edges of the flight envelope...."
