Salute!

5 Nov 13: Saw what appeared to be a Cee with an F-18 chase today while on the way to the grocery. Could have been a delivery or a checkout.

They made 5 or 6 circuits with gear down and at a lower alt on downwind than normal Air Force or Marine patterns. Also had the nose gear light,

The possible Cee had a noticeable bigger planform than the other Stubbies I see every day.

Was impressed with the chase pilot, having had a few hundred hours chasing SLUF and Viper jets on their solo or other missions.

Gums reports....

I can't wait to see my first flying F-35. Living in Phoenix it won't be too long before I will see them out of Luke.
