Colour of the intake bump and leading edge is interesting. Also seen on the panel edges on top too and looks much like the nozzles when the light hits them at the right angle.

That is actually rather interesting; as far as I'm aware, that section is made of the same stuff as most of the rest of the aircraft's skin; graphite epoxy.

I have two "A"s from LRIP4 yet to fly.

AF-26 made FF on March 30th, got USAF serial AF 10-5014 marked EG, never published by LM.
The source is reliable, appeared at Scramble.nl

All the A's of LRIP-4 made FF, only 4 B's to go

Yes, the runway repairs.

Thanks, I guess it is about time to start maintaining the thread for "Who's on first!". I'll update it and see what kind of support we get. Similar to the F-22 thread! :-)

Lockheed Martin test pilot Paul Hattendorf was at the controls for the first flight of F-35A AF-26 (US Air Force serial number 10-5014). The flight occurred on 27 March 2013 with takeoff and landing at NAS Fort Worth JRB, Texas.?
