What would a battle look like with multiple F-35's fighting each other?
Lets say the approached each other's with emissions on. Will ASQ-239 detect the APG-81? And can an APG-81 be used to detect another APG-81? Since they are rather similar tech and the F-35 has sensor fusion, I suppose the F-35 can feed in background noise, and compare the differences, and send out jamming signals relative to the signals it is receiving. Would it prevent both sides from a BVR engagment?
Of course there are infrared sensors, however clouds and contrails from global military and civilian flights can effect this.
Both sides have top-tier sensor fusion and can triangulate and datalink their missiles at each other.

Sub battle, at longer ranges and higher speed.
Probably a lot of flying past each other to hit known targets.

Einstein got it backward: one cannot prevent a war without preparing for it.
Uncertainty: Learn it, love it, live it.

When F-22s fight, no one wins. You just burn gas

Do we actually know that?

Yes one of the guest speakers at the Danish symposium mentioned it

....how much can a pilot learn about a P-51 vs P-51, F-4 vs F-4, F-15 vs F-15, same training, same experience, etc. .....only!....the F-35 has not begun to teach us what "all its tricks"will be.....I speculate its tactics are in its infancy as 3F, 4.1A, B, etc. progress.....will it fly, stall, land.....yes and what else?

That's very curious. I wonder how much the situation changes when one side needs to defend a HVT like a C2 center and forces both sides into the merge.

Don't bother with the opponent F-35.
Just prevent them from landing.
yeah, unless the opponent F35 are F35Bs.....
