New Helicopter with 2 rotors built into wings?

Hey guys, new to the site.
Me and my son where fishing the other day when a military helicopter flew over. It was one I've never seen anywhere, and can't find it anywhere online. It almost looked like a stealth fighter, but a little more traditional aircraft in its shape. Built inside both wings where helicopter rotor's. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Was it a drone? There are a couple of odd looking drone tilt-rotors out there, but there are only a couple manned tilt-rotors, and, except for a really old Canadian plane, they mostly look like the V-22.

When you say inside the wing, do you mean like with the VSTOL jet from "The Avengers"? (Just for illustration, since your description does sound like it, although of course it's fictional.) I don't think any real plane is like that.

Perhaps the VARIOUS concept is further along than expected?

There are actually a number of proposed manned aircraft with fan-in-wing designs, but I'm not sure if any have been built.

This was definitely a manned air craft with fan in wing design. were the closest mountains to Oceania, so i'm guesing it's navy. Kinda looks like delvo's pic but more rounded off and stubby, and I'm pretty sure we saw sunlight through the rotors. We where trout fishing on a wooded mountain stream so we didn,t get a long look but, it was crazy looking.
