Hello to all

I've bought Falcon 4.0 Allied Force a few days, and i liked to know one thing.

I saw on a site some years ago, that i can't find now, that some patches in a specific method order installation,

can fix the problem of the game when trying to refuelling the F-16.

Is it true or not? And if so can someone tell about it or give a link of that site or another one.

Have a good day

The patches must be installed in order otherwise you may encounter some problems.

What problems are you having refueling? Is the camel behaving erratically or are you experiencing difficulty keeping steady on the tanker?

I think it's the camel, because I adjusted the f-16 in many positions but nothing worked, and I have to quite.

It takes some practice but you need to listen to the instructions from the tanker. It will tell you to go up/down/forward or back in order to make contact. You may think you are going too far forward but being that the port is behind the cockpit it's going to seem odd. It's been a while since I have flown in Allied Force, but I don't recall any major bugs relating to tanking other than it will check out and RTB with no notification sometimes.

Man does this bring back memories! As Bernnotice said it does take alot of trying and failing before getting it exactly right. I acctually laughed when i read "You may think you are going too far forward but being that the port is behind the cockpit it's going to seem odd" cus thats exactly what happend to me. Sometimes the angle confuses you. Hope it worked out! Here is a vid of the whole process : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRfNwOEb0i8

is there a specific reason you still want to fly allied force and not use BMS (www.bmsforum.org) which is far more realistic on avionics and flight model?
