Here are a few pics. I'll post more in a bit!

Thanks guys! I'm just glad to finally have it completed. Now I just have to manage to safely move it from NM to TX and then to MS! If I can manage to do that without breaking anything, I'll be very pleased.

Great job, Rexxxx. I am an old Hound (96-98) and appreciate seeing a jet from my old squadron. One question I have for you and all modelers out there: almost every F-16 model I have ever seen shows the leading edge flaps perfectly even with the strakes. Why doesn't anybody move the LE FLAPS to the 2-degree up position, where they normally are when the jet is on the ground? Granted, it would be difficult, but surely not too difficult for serious modeler. Seems to me I saw a reference to the 2-degree up flap position in this forum once, but can't recall.

Best Regards,

Joe, to be honest, I didn't even worry about modifying the flaps on this one. Actually, when I glued the wings on, it almost looked like they were already in the 2-degree up position. At any rate, that would definitely be a good project for an experienced modeler. You may want to ask Habu if he's ever tried that with a 1/48 sized viper. Although I've never actually taken a good look at the kit, I would imagine it would be a lot easier to do with the Tamiya 1/32 Viper.

another thing that is hard to modify on the Hasegawa kits is the additional GPS door (2417) next to the gun...i believe that this door is only found on Block 30/32s and up? ahdunno...either its hard to modify or its not thought of...aside from that your jet is awesome, Rexxxx!

Ok, so I couldn't resist. I had to get some shots of the model with the real jet before I left Cannon, so here you go!
