Well, here is the XL finally done:

This definitely isn't out of box, and isn't quite factual, but sure does look cool.

A Masterpiece. Really a nice looking plane. The scheme and tiger stripes look awesome.

Missed this one. Very nice F-16 "Xtra Large" viper boness! Like the details you built into it and the paint scheme awsome. :thumb:

More than likely have "been there and done that at some point", it sure keeps you young if done correctly

I crewed that airplane back in 1999 and 2000.

Wow.. You've done superb job with it.. Can I ask what scale it is in please? Looks from the photos like a 1/32? Is that right.. Excellent detailing through out...
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

A beautifully built model! I hope you won't mind a bit of criticism, but it appears you have taken a standard F-16 fuselage and made XL wings for it. In fact, the XL had a 20 inch extension in the forward fuselage and a 26 inch extension in the aft fuselage, which was canted up 3 degrees. Your AIM-120 missiles seem too large, and the speedbrake is not deployed symmetrically. Not sure, but the tip missiles do not appear to be twisted nose down 3 degrees.
Please don't take this as serious criticism, for you have done a great job and the model looks fine. Very few people would even notice the problems I mentioned.

Johnwill, that is the way the 1:32 XL kit is designed, they failed to add the plugs. more info

Thanks, habu2. Not being a modeler, I did not realize that. Seems a shame the kit is so inaccurate. Obviously, my criticism should not be directed to boness. For that, I apologize.

Looks very good! Very nicely painted, and details look good too!
A kit in 1/32 would be nice to build someday.
