BBI 1/18 F-16 421 FS

I was in the Black Widows from 1997 - 2000 as an Intel NCO. I was blessed to sandbag about 50 hours in the D models. Anyway, I modded the BBI viper to represent our flagship. I stole the targeting pod, AIM-9s, and GBU-24s from my JSI Tomcat. I made the targeting pod pylon, station 2 and 8 pylon adapters, and station 1 and 9 launch rails from sheet plastic. I'm making the AIM-120s for station 1 and 9 from 3/8 inch aluminum rods and should have them installed soon. The stand is made from 1 inch PVC. I made the decals and printed them on our ink jet printer (first time I've done that, it was cool).

Nice model. I must say that this is one of the best models that I have seen in a long time. While the directions way understate the amount of time spent on making these model. It is turned out to be a beautiful model.

Very nice! What scale is that big F16 at? That's about the size I want to buy or model.

Thanks, the big F-16 is the 1/18 scale BBI jet that I customized.

is it possible to give me some more information about this F-16 standard?
I have also an F-16 on scale 1:18.
