Well, here is my latest project. I am kit-bashing the Block 50 and Block 32 kits to create my Block 30. I didn't really find any wheel wells that I liked so I decided to spruce up the kits' with some sprue and wire. Hope you enjoy. Criticism welcome.

Ok, well I 've got the wells painted and applied a light wash. The only thing lacking is the light lenses and decals. Hope you enjoy.

Gonna just glom on to Sean's thread here.
Did the same thing, and didn't go with the aftermarket wheelwell. Used a bunch of fine solder and stuff. Its not CLOSE to accurate, but it has what Shep Paine calls "creative gizmology" and certainly look busy...especially when the rest of it is assembled.
Pit is stock with Eduard color stuff. Seat is Black Box. I didn't do with BB this time. I punked out and couldn't bring myself to hack on a $170 kit that much!

Scott you already did the paint&decal before you finished the stab? Brave man....though it does look great. Just a note though, one of the very few niggles with the kit is that the vert stab will not sit down completely on the fuse. The poly caps will contract and lift the stab about a half milliemeter off the fuse's surface. I just glued mine in.
Do your homework, Tiger!
