Richard Branson already has a option for 10 of these jets

I like the design, a more elegant & simple 'Mini Concorde'

Plans to fly at 60,000' and at 1,451 mph; which is 100mph faster than the Concorde according to the article.

Those are similar to current Business Class prices and less than half of Concorde prices of ten years ago.

If they do become a reality, should I expect you to be riding one of these to your next business meeting?

$5000 round trip?
Isn't that only about double the normal ticket price?
Einstein got it backward: one cannot prevent a war without preparing for it.

Uncertainty: Learn it, love it, live it.

I'm probably too old to be around when (if) it goes into service. If you work hard, live prudently, and invest wisely, you could do it.

I'm to frugal to ever pay so much for a flight.
