Has anybody ever tried to combine Catapult + Ski-ramp launch system into 1 system to launch airplanes that way?

I've googled and found no relevant answers.

Is it possible?

Would there be major benefits to this system?

I think I've seen that mentioned before, though I don't think I've seen much consistency on it. It's probably technically difficult to engineer a catapult on a curve, and a catapult in front of a curve is likely wasting a lot of precious space. There may be differences between the aerodynamics of CATOBAR and STOVL aircraft that make a ramp useful for the latter but not the former.
Einstein got it backward: one cannot prevent a war without preparing for it.

Uncertainty: Learn it, love it, live it.
