Looks like a miss to me. Only looks like a hit due to perspective. Note the Eagle kept motoring on as if nothing happened.

That was back in Jan 2018 and was apparently released by Houthis in Yemen after firing at a Saudi F-15.

A later Video in March 2018 possibly shows them launching an R-27 type missile from the ground and hitting an aircraft.

Saudi Arabia did appear to admit one was hit but made it back.

Riyadh, Rajab 04, 1439, March 21, 2018, SPA -- The official spokesman of the Coalition Forces in Defense of the Legitimacy in Yemen Col. Staff Turki Al-Turki disclosed that at 15:48 today, a Coalition fighter was intercepted at the operations field by a hostile air defense missile launched from Saada airport, but the fighter managed to complete its mission, deal with the source of fire and return safe to base.

Also in March 2018 another video emerged that shows somebody firing a SAM at an F-16 which missed.

I don't know about you but in my book that doesn't qualify as a shoot-down. It wasn't even a mission kill.

LOL. How disheartening is it to aradical Islam terrorist to hit an enemy aircraft and... it didn't matter. Just kept right on going!

Well anyway at the time someone (Serving USAF) on another forum posted photos of a damaged F-15 stab and claimed they had been told by the contractor doing the repair it was from a Saudi F-15 that had been damaged by a SAM (kinetic only) but had not been shot down. It is a recent F-15 stab photo but cant verify origin really.

According to Coopers Sources both a 55sq F-15SA ( 7 Jan ) and an F-15S (22 Mar) were hit (or clipped) by R-27Ts and both were repaired at as-Sala'am.

Apparently Yemeni (Houthi) engineers at their Missile Research Centre were able to rig up an R-27T launch system (using ex Yemeni AF stock) to an ULTRA FLIR turret for targeting and 7 Jan was the first time they had got anywhere near. (the Houthis did claim to have shot it down). - Seems getting the missile to prox fuse was another issue.

Houthis not exactly a rag tag bunch controlled most of Yemen in 2015. As for the Saudi coalition they are probably doing less low level flying in afterburner.
