OK, then what's the PRETTIEST military aircraft (non-Viper)

Military aircraft - Post cold war aircraft, including for example B-2, Gripen, F-18E/F Super Hornet, Rafale, and Typhoon.

I'm a bit sad, because we have to say goodbye this year to one of my all time favorites...

PetervanStigt I thought the Tomcat was going to be retired by 2008 not 2006?

Yep, that's a P'shop image of the F-35. Including the brushed-in vortexes. At this angle even the JSF can look sort of nice... :D Raptor looks great from more angles.

Hehe, that F-35 pic` is way below your league Peter! That is a beautiful F-14 picture you have there! Have you done any F-22 renderings yet?

PS, your Gripen picture was AWESOME!!!!!!! My favourite to date. :D

You always surprise me, Peter. That's a fabulous wallpaper of the Raptor :thumb: How many time do you spend doing wallpapers like that?

That depends. A fully digital one may take as little as 2 hrs, analogue illustrations don't start their lives as wallpaper but as poster. They can consume up to 40 (!) hrs... And anything in between... :offtopic:

My first love, ating from the pre-Viper (my greatest love) era. First flight in 1967, pioneer in the delta/canard configuration. Awesome power but now put out to pasture...
