OK, then what's the PRETTIEST military aircraft (non-Viper)

Military aircraft - Post cold war aircraft, including for example B-2, Gripen, F-18E/F Super Hornet, Rafale, and Typhoon.

My first love, ating from the pre-Viper (my greatest love) era. First flight in 1967, pioneer in the delta/canard configuration. Awesome power but now put out to pasture...

Golden Eagle was designed with the help of LM, no wonder it looks like a scaled-down Viper trainer , thus attractive. Still going for the twin-tails too...

One of the sexiest jets ever made IMHO. One of the first to use the coke bottle fuselages. Absolutely gorgeous.

Yep, and never there was a plane flying so fast at sea level and do that for long times like the Thud does... Another thing of beauty if you take its career into account is this one. A blueprint of all helos following it: the immortal Huey...

Ahh, the Huey :D, I love it, it's a great Helo, I think it's the best Helicopter of the 20th Century, and one of my all-time favorites. 2º comes this baby:

Ahhh, very nice. The first pic is mislabeled. It is a HH-60G Pavehawk. I was a crewchief on these fine machines before joining the guard and going 16s.

Haha, I'm not yank, but I always think that the 1º was the Kestrel, not Merlin. The Merlin is beautiful, and the Lynx too.

Anyway, I like the US Helos than others :D

The Augusta-Westland A-109 the USCG uses (MH-68 Stingray ) is very pretty.

Peter, very nice. "These things we do, that others may live"

Boff, the EH101 is an incredible helicopter. I was one of the lucky ones that got to ride in it during it's American debut. We did a rather lengthy display of all it's capabilities. I am a Sikorsky man myself, but this one gives them a run for their money.

How about the slightly underestimated 'poor man's Apache', the Agusta A-129 Mongoose...
