79-0370 at Nellis 1980. When I arrived at Nellis the 428 had only 1 F-16 on the ramp! 8)

Did you notice the Fatigues the crew chiefs are wearing in stutler's photo..?? The days of wearing the pickles..!! At least you could wear short sleeves then..!!

I cleaned the crap out of that jet. Learned how to change rudder pedals on that one. And boy do I miss the Fatigues. They were so easy to wear.

90-0794. Not a bad jet, but had a few issues. Don't know where this pic came from, but looks pretty cool.

Since I wasn't a crew chief, I didn't have one particular jet. My first jet was the F-106. To this very minute, it is STILL the fastest single-engine airplane ever to fly.

As far as quirks and peculariarities go, the F-16 shows its lineage; the Six had lots of 'em too.

81-0761 Block 15 it was a great jet I loved it rarely broke hard and it was good looking
