I remember a Combat Aircraft magazine a while back that had a really nice layout of all the Air Force units, including locations and missions. It was even broken down into guard and reserve units. I'm planning on joining the Air Guard or Reserve in the next couple of years as soon as my degree is finished, but haven't been able to find a a good reference of the breakdown. I know from some Google searches that the Air Force website, Wikipedia, and places like military.com have some rudimentary breakdowns but they are rather tedious to go through. Does anyone know of a very good single source place to reference? I don't know if there is some kind of OpSec stipulation about it but I would really like to narrow down my focus a bit. Thanks.

Look for the yearly almanac issue of Air Force Magazine. It usually has a May cover date.
