My son has been accepted into OTS. Has taken his physical but is waiting for a waiver for his Lasik he had done 14 months ago. So far it has been three months and he has heard nothing. He is being told he will leave for OTS in May. His recruiter has never had a pilot who needed a waiver so he has no idea on the timeline. Any idea of how long this takes?

I think it took less than a month for mine to go through. But I don't think 3 months is implausible. I would find someone who knows who to call to follow up on it, make sure its not sitting in a stack of papers on someone's desk and get it pushed through by a certain time if need be.
