Source for a Graphic of the F22's Range?

Anything goes, as long as it is about the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor

Does anyone have a url link or some other source for this image? I keep seeing it circulating around in the internet but it always leads back to this forum

I noticed it too. Was this before the OPEVAL and just an estimate? I always thought the F-35A/C had greater combat radius. But it seems to compare favorably if the F-22 does not use super cruise. Of course that depends on the flight profile of the F-35.

At the bottom of the graph it says F-22 Enhanced Range Study 060402 and it comes direct from LMT although the proprietary statement implies it was leaked.

Wow! That sure is an eye opener..

Maybe I missed this before, but the F-22 out-ranges an F-15E with 3 bags? And by no small amount. That's crazy. I'm assuming it's also carrying the CFT's which it almost always does. Did you also catch the notes below it? It assumes the F-15E punches the tanks too when empty!

Those engineers are amazing.

They done good :)

As Boeing claim an absolute max of 1100nm combat radius I doubt LMT's F-15E configuration in that graphic is with CFTs but spurts can confirm one way or the other as I think this graphic has been discussed before on his Beagle/Stubby thread. Notice also the difference in routing factor.

30% routing factor AND a HLLH profile. What it is trying to show is that all the range of a Mudhen doesn't mean much when you have to sacrifice it to avoid being shot down.
