I was hoping they would have chosen a LM support package. I'd of paid people to get on this program!

The Croatian Ministry of Defence (MoD) invited the Israeli Air Force (IAF) to visit Croatia on 2-5 August as it negotiated the purchase of F-16 combat aircraft from Israel.
The potential deal reflected Croatia’s growing sign of support and friendship with Israel, with the arrival of three F-16Ds from the IAF’s 109 Squadron.
It is not known whether the visiting aircraft will be included in the possible upcoming purchase, but the IAF’s visit to Croatia ended with two Israeli F-16Ds taking part in the fly-by during Croatian Victory Day in Knin, an event celebrating the 1995 operation ‘Storm’, which every year strains relations between Serbia and Croatia.
Croatia is under public pressure to field a new fighter following the first flights carried out by Serbia in late July of its MiG-29s donated by Russia in October 2017. As such, the IAF’s visit to Croatia can also be seen as a public relations exercise to counter Serbia in the fighter arena amid negotiations between Croatia and Israel following the 29 March decision to procure 12 used F-16s from Israel.

mismos F-16 ofrecidos a Colombia hace un par de años atrás, obviamente si se les puede llevar a un MLU M5.2 tape o superior sera buena compra..., otra cosa seria si Israel ofreciera un paquete de upgrade para los halcones de pelea

(ZAGREB, Croatia) — Croatia urged Israel on Thursday to overcome a rare disagreement with the United States and to confirm it can carry through on a deal to sell 12 used American-made fighter jets.

Croatia’s Defense Ministry said it needed an answer from Israel by Jan. 11 or the Balkan country’s $500 million order for a dozen F-16 aircraft would be cancelled.

Given Mattis blocked the deal and now left, Jan 11 is not a deadline Israel can keep as there will be no Sec of Defense by then to give the nod

Israel to Croatia: F16 sale cancelled because of U.S. objections 01.06.19

Israel will not be able to complete the F16 deal which was signed with Croatia last March, following Washington's restrictions on the sale deal, according to reports Sunday.

Defense Ministry Director-General Udi Adam and Michel Ben-Baruch, the head of SIBAT, the International Defense Cooperation Directorate of the Israel Ministry of Defense, are scheduled to visit Croatia this week and inform the Croatian Ministry of Defense that the deal is cancelled.
