I'm just curious as to how you ended up in your careers. So far, Ive only ever heard of the careers of pilots I've read about in books and my det commander.

Please post your stories below, I don't care if you were Academy, ROTC or OTS.

For reference, I'm a sophomore in ROTC hoping to end up in fighters.
