The "new" F35 G Suit isn't really new. It is the Combat Edge ensemble (not just a suit) just like the Viper, Raptor and a few other jets. Some of the accessories vary between aircraft such as the helmet and most notably for the F-22, the BRAG(Breathing Regulator/Anti-G) valve.
As I understood, the F-35A hasn't been cleared to push the envelope to the limit, except for approved test flights. The F-22 is notorious for giving pilots problems with sudden G onset. My understanding is the F-35A performs close to a clean F-16C when it comes to G onset. Similar profile and similar Combat Edge flight gear.

All of the Holloman and Luke B-course students get ATAGS when they show up at their base. The Kelly and Tuscon guys have been getting them as they become available, but they aren't 100% from what I've heard. If you're going to the centrifuge for the Viper they'll fit you up with ATAGS when you get down to Brooks since UPT is still flying with the old G-suit.
