(Sorry for making another topic so soon, but I figured that this question warranted a separate topic).

I was wondering if there was any way to receive AF or Navy level pilot medical screening prior to actually joining the respective branches?

I know its possible to get a FAA Class 1 Medical, but from my understanding the AF and Navy requirements for pilots are more restrictive, and I wanted to get pre-screened to make sure that I would have no prior disqualifying medical conditions. I just wanted to avoid the disappointment of something popping up during my training that would disqualify me from being a pilot.

There's a local ANG base near me, do you think I could get one there?

Don't know about pre-screenings; but, you could review Chapter 6 of http://www.e-publishing.af.mil/shared/media/epubs/AFI48-123.pdf.
