Would like to know what you think F-16 vs redesigned MiG-29

Agreed, it will never be a fair fight but how would the F-16 match up against the ... ?

Just yesterday I started building a 1/48 scale MIG-29UB, now think in terms of reallity, on my model I put F-22 style wings on. You hear, read of the Russians who just rolled out a MiG-29 in this configuration, my first reaction pretty cool and they say its has an 80-95% sucess rate in any air-to-air missions and posess a real threat in the air especially against the F-22.

So let me hear what you think.

Today any aircraft, even the Su-35, which will enter service in 2010 or even later, can beat F-22 Raptor. NOTHING goes first as someona said. However, Fighting Falcon can be beaten by an upgraded MiG-29.

F-16C/D Block 52+ has an advantage over MiG-29SMT/M2, but it's only a little advantage and much depends on the pilot. If Viper is w/o AESA and fights with an upgraded 29 with Zhuk-M radar, it is pretty worse than MiG-29.
F-16A/B can easily be beaten by MiG-29A. MiG-29UB would have much trouble even with F-16A, because of the fact that in fact it has got no radar, it cannot fight BVR and so on. But MiG-29UBT would perform quite well even against F-16A ADF. A Russian aircraft, which can be mentioned as equal to F-16C/D Block 52+ with AESA is Su-30MKI.

Greetings from the Poland - our 29's guard now not only sky over Poland, but also over Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia - they're part of NATINADS shield :)
