Yes it is for Tonopah and you must have 117 aircraft experience.

It's gonna have to pay pretty good to get civilians to move out to Tonopah.

How much F-117 work will there be?

Unlike most other Air Force aircraft which are retired to Davis-Monthan AFB, the F-117s are being retired to Tonopah. There, their wings will be removed and the aircraft will be stored in their original hangars.

Aren’t they all to be retired by next Spring?

Looks to me like they're trying to hire people BEFORE they get the contract to store the jets. That would tell me "no contract for us, no job for you".

Always makesya kinda wonder, when a jet like that is being phased out, what's flying now, better, neater, niftier? Like the Blackbird hearings the porkies in Congress forced upon us... "Take a hint, Senator, we don't NEED that thing anymore, we've got something better." And no, it's not called the Aurora. Hmph. Civilians...

Sidebar, speaking of north Nevada- Youse guys check how "they" renamed Indian Springs Aux Field Creech AFB? Aw, YEAH, man, push that TQM heritage!

Jay, I wouldnt call Indian Springs northern Nevada, pretty far south in the state. Tonopah is 2 hours north of there and Tonopah is still 4 hours south of Reno.

I sent over 8 years working on the cockroach so I emailed the recruiter... haven't heard a damn thing from them.

I would imagine you would'nt have to move to Tonopah and it would be a fly there and back and stay the work week up there like it was when the program was still black.
