UAE LM / DS2 / Dyncorp? WTF!

Greetings:
Just about a year ago, I was almost brought onto the UAE F-16 deal by LM. Then in January I was sent a contract by DS2. Now, I have been offered a job with Dyncorp.
Does anybody have a clue what is going on out there? I worked in Saudi for a couple of years and I thought they had a hard time getting anything done! This is ridiculous! Is it the AF or the companies or both that are causing the problems? I know Dyncorp has won portions of this contract, but does anybody know what LM will still be doing?
Any info would greatly be appreciated because my contacts have no idea what is going on! Thanks

Just to let everyone know, I just had my job interview with the program manager last week and contracts should be sent out within a week or two. So the ball has started to move. For all you guys that have waited for a year and half like myself hang in there the wait will be over soon. According to the Program Manager the Contract has been signed. The pay will be fairly good but transportation will cost you, may think about buying/leasing a car with someone. They are currently giving $100 a week for transportation back and forth to work. Make sure you have your international driver’s license as the US is one of the GCC countries all you have to have for a UAE dl is your regular drivers and international License. As far as taking family LM will reimburse one members flight ticket, which is Good news. I would not advice you to take your family members right away for housing is tight, and it does take a bit to get your Visa. You can only sponsor your family members after you have obtained your visa. If your family member does go over with you, you run the chance of not getting your members visa within 30days, and if that happens they have to leave the country and re-enter to get another visitor’s Visa. If you want to find out more about the UAE Google the Expatriate blogs for Abu Dhabi and you will find a wealth of information.
