Just heard back from some dude, this offer is toast, no contract...

Hah! More lies from some paper-pushing yuppie. The term, "prospective contract" now means, "Oh gee, let me bid on something my fly-by-night company has NO chance of getting, but I'll present it to a bunch of 16 vets who will delay their lives while I play phone games". (DS2? Whatever happened to THAT shyster bunch? Simply gathering names for nothing)

SO glad I *never* believed a word this person said... Seemed like a nice guy from his occasional E-mails, but would always get evasive, when given a direct question about material from the DAE website, like "openings" in Holland or USAFE. Hopefully, this entire recruiter industry will now realize ALL military aircraft mechanics are from Missouri. Don't even BREATHE in my direction, unless you are ACTUALLY HIRING for something RIGHT NOW.

Holy crap! Poor little golf-playing secretary's are gonna hide under their beds when they sneak in here today!

A buddy of mine provided this overseas contact for work available in Saudi right now.

He has worked there (Saudi) for almost ten years and loves it, the contact information is below if anyone is interested in this line of work (aviation, maintenance, crew chiefs, weapons loaders, trainers etc)

Good luck... from Meathook

Alsalam Aircraft Company, LTD
P.O. Box 8012
Riyadh 11482
Saudi Arabia
011-966-1-220-0198 (Fax)
011-966-2-220-3966 (Phone)
Program Manager ext. 234

The persons name to write too or call is Mr. McGraw.
Hope this helps.

Did you sell your green VW before you went over there? I've been wondering how people store POVs for years at a time...

In relation to this "alsalam" outfit Meathook mentioned, the website states must be F-15 sevlev. Dooooon't think that's gonna translate too well on this board, since "Rivet" locked us all into whatever we were in 95. (Unless your airframe ceases to exist. F-111 guys get whatever they want, eh?)
