Description
L-3 Link Simulation and Training is seeking an experienced Test Director to provide technical expertise for the testing, verification, and validation total training systems solutions used in military flight and maintenance training systems.

Responsibilities
• Participate in all phases of system design, including requirements definition
• Subject Matter Experts (SME) for their application
• Manages Hardware & software system integration
• Conducts mission environment testing
• Lead all test effort; system tests, acceptance tests, configuration, scheduling, and customer interface
• Write test plans, conduct tests, document results, and ensure discrepancy resolution
• Manages discrepancy review boards
• Monitor and control testing aspects of the program for cost, schedule and technical issues
Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (customer, users, USAF SMEs)
• Good analytical skills
• Experience interfacing with customers and end users
• Ability to explain technical concerns to customer
• Ability to lead a team of engineers
• Self-motivated to address, evaluate, and if necessary, correct testing concerns
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and the associated environment
• Organizational skills and integrity to run a rigorous test program while holding to the contractual requirements
• F-16 Pilot experience, preferably in the Block30/ 40/50 F-16 (current Guard or Reserve experience a plus)
• Ability to work weekends and off-shifts as required
• Ability to travel to site for installs and upgrades
• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of related experience
Additional Desired Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, Computer Science, or Engineering degree
• Weapons School experience a plus
• 4+ years of aviation industry experience
• Experience in use of simulation training devices and products
• Test experience
• Demonstrated experience developing long-term business relationships with the customer or end user community

Heard L3 is great if you actually get on board, but notorious for not following through on recruiting.

Not as though that is in any way common treatment for us enlisted wrench-turner types in this industry. :whistle:

L-3 has over 60 divisions, each group has their own HR staff. If you apply for a position at Link Simulation and Training,and it is my job you will know if you are considered for a position or not.

No offense, though. Seriously. I believe you believe what you're saying / been told.

Unfortunately, you're in the wrong place to be claiming you are the "one honest recruiter".

We do sincerely appreciate you posting. However, so many of us have been burned so often by so many "honest recruiters" who stop returning calls as soon as a "prospective contract" changes. Tell this to people who were left sitting at airports / bus stations / cheap motels looking at an email or voicemail saying, "Sorry", then thinking, "Now what?"

Just a trace of bitterness, there... :whistle:
