We are on the lookout for a ready to go, F-16 Field Service Engineer in Egypt for a full time accompanied role. 

Skill set includes AIS (Avionics Intermediate Shop) experience. Must be clearable or already possess a US Secret security clearance.

The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team is adding to the team in Egypt for the F-16. The goal is to continue the upkeep of this 20+ year reputation and to support our customers in Egypt as a subject matter expert.

We have immediate opportunities for a mid level Avionics specialist, Field Service Representative Engineer for the F-16 Fighting Falcon. To be successful, you must have had at least 3 years supporting avionics maintenance and modifications, also known as avionic intermediate shop maintenance. The primary purpose is to provide on-site advice, liaison and informal training on the installation, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems.
Being familiar with organizational, intermediate and depot levels is required, with demonstrated leadership and good organizational skills and understanding for customer and program requirements and priorities. Prior work experience overseas is helpful since this exciting opportunity is a spouse/ accompanied overseas assignment in Egypt with an urgent need to start late 2012/ early 2013.

Which location Leslie? I was assigned to Gianaclis 03-04, but as the only USAF Avionics in country, I traveled to Beni Suef, Cairo, and Ismailia on a regular basis.
