I don't seem to see any offers in my area of expertise, but I know they're out there.

I am currently an MA graduate student in Technology History. I know how to write and convert incomprehensible technical jargon into something that can be understood by a wider audience (e.g. congressmen). My current specialty is ICBM/spacecraft-booster development, but I also have firsthand experience in the aviation field (holder of an out-of-date private pilot's license and former fuel technician for corporate/commercial aircraft). I also have four years of military experience (enlisted Army, Infantry) with an honorable discharge.

Desperate: will work for peanuts as long as it's with a defense contractor.

Good luck with that change in scenery!

Still looking for a public affairs job. Also willing to take any work involving a major defense contractor as long as training is provided. No preferences on locations, able to adapt and also good with writing (experience with military logistics).
