We are seeking a System Architect for F-22 Structures IPT analysis systems covering the Loads, Flutter/Dynamics and Stress disciplines. Primary responsibility to optimize complete end-to-end analysis processes. Requires extensive background in all IT aspects involved including: software development, numerical methods, user interfaces, database, hardware/network architecture.
Technical PoC for maintenance and development of the FAMAS (Flutter and Matrix Algebra System) system. Requires extensive knowledge in the architecture and programming techniques utilized in the FAMAS and MADOL (Matrix Algebra Discipline Oriented Language) applications. Requires strong background in software development utilizing SCM and SEP principles.
Support F-22 analysis processes in the areas of Loads and Flutter. Supported Loads analysis processes include: flexible loads calculation, fatigue spectrum generation and life analysis, internal loads determination through FEA, collection and processing of F-22 fleet usage data in support of the F-22 ASIP. Supported Flutter analysis processes include: whole vehicle flutter analysis with and without control systems, aero-servo elastic analysis, normal modes determination through FEA.
The successful candidate is expected to assimilate the varied aspects of each step in the complete analysis processes and develop advanced complete end to end solutions and guide their development into a final product. Considered an expert or authority in complex analysis system development.
