I used to be fuel shop, but Hahn was my first assignment. Was in the 10th from 86-87 (dedicated specialist on 84-1331D...the one that collided with the glider...remember that??) and then I went to the 496th in 87. By 89, we were all in the back shop again, although it was still located inside the 496th. Hate to say it, but the people in the 10th were a lot better folks to be around then my crew in the 496th. I LOVED HAHN btw! Left in July of 91, and went to Spangdahlem right down the road...loved it there too.

Poking around on the internet just plugging in my old squadron number to see what came up. I was surprised to find this site. I do not know if any one would remember me. I was with the 496th from 86-89 I was in A flight and was the only one of my kind when I as there. My tail # was 1309. I was a crew chief and was sometimes referred to as snow bunny. Which usually meant I was going to be thrown into a snow bank. Reading all the comments brings back great memories of my time there. I sometimes miss those days. One memory I have is when we lost "The Reverend" Capt Jim Jones. This was after we had snuck him into the NCO club in Zaragosa. Have you figured out who I am? I would love to chat with some of my old squadron buddies.
