I was a 612th crew chief from '82 to 85, went from F-4D's to F-16's, got to know 614 crew chief's on a deployment to Aviano in or around February 1985, group of us went to Carnavale in Venice. Does anyone know where James Clingman went to? Had the pleasure of drinking with Frankiewics,,,

Hey Chris, It, Brian Badovinac. I remember you. Doug Baumgartner was at Aviano for a few years and now I think he's in TX as a liason for Lockheed. I retired in 2004 and am working for Lockheed in Abu Dhabi on the Block 60's. Fun Fun

Came to TJ in Sep '85 and assigned to the Squids, 613th. Worked the last F-4 WTD to The Lik a week after arriving in country. Did the standard conversion to the Vipers working along side Don Shetler and Smokin' Joe Silvera of the 612th and Hack Alexander of the 614th. Oh yeah, remember getting clawed at by the lovely Capt Covas! After TJ, saw a few TJ folks sprinkled amongst several Viper bases stateside during my tour with the ACC IG. Will be going back to Madrid this September on vacation. I know the base is there, but there's only a small cadre of US servicemen. Doubt if I can even get close to the place without one of those Spanish conscript burping off a couple of rounds!

This is "Stu" from TJ, Homestead, and Moooody! Was in the Lucky Devils 84-92. Currently at Ramstein with an assignment to Nellis. I keep in touch with a lot of the fellas from TJ.

omg... STU did not kill all of his brain cells at TJ. I'm suprised he can recall even being there!

Now you know I'm just kidding - but seriously, it was quite a party. I can almost taste the bicardi and lemon. mmmm Sangria in the caves... """as I weep of fond memories"""

oh and Stu... I forgot to thank you for tailgating me back from Toledo - you saved me the speeding ticket from the camera... hahahaha. Bet u forgot about that!

As for me, I definatly recall being there, but the details are a little fuzzy... I have to admit that working in Phase left even more time for the party.

Driving in Spain was quite a trip as well. I hate to even get into stories about that...

Yea, like that narrow a$$ road north of Alcala (maybe mis-spelled). I lost a drivers side mirror to a passing vehicle there. Or that hairy back road to base housing....

Of course heading out of base on a Friday... there was always some eye-candy at every stop light.

Stu, I heard you were at Hill the other day and you didn't look me up. Stu was a helluva guy, translated for me when I got hitched. Anyone seen tony Ramos? Gary Berlo? Berlo was suppose to be a cop somewhere in Mass. I miss all the discoteques, especially the one in Arganda and of course Benidorm.

I was in the 613th furing Desert Storm. I worked for Jim Kuypers...my neighbor out in Meco was Steve Goza, and I also shut the base down with you guys, then went to Homestead.
Before TJ, I was in the 62nd at MacDill....what a great assignment.
I'd love to exchange Emails if anyone remembers me.

Eric Tagesen...I was an A1C back then....now I'm a Master. I crewed Maj Gen Daniels' F16 while at TJ.
