I was there from 84 to 93. Your name looks familiar. Seem wrong to live so close to the base and not see the old unit.

Wow, what a blast from the past! Been a long time but I remember all those names from my "Fun in the Sun Tour" 83 to 88. How about some more names: Radcliff, Blanford, Springer, Toole, Pineda, Ellington, Crawford, Holley, Anderson, Rose, Lilenthal. As remtech said the list could go on and on.

Hey I was there in A-Fly from "86-89. Is this Joni Sawyer? This is Bryant (george) Washington. I became your crew chief wayyyy back in "88. I see those familiar names above. I see they are missing a few classics. Ole speedy in support, Jim Reisen, Michaleik, Lostumbo, Mervin, Mike Holly, Jeff Wade,,,,,Tony Agular, and a few others. lolAlso a few of your fellow specs. Will Johnson. Wow what memories.

Hey Bryant and Joni - hope you are doing well - I check this thread every once in awhile to see if any more old "faces" pop back up and lo and behold Bryant "George" Washington appeared. I got there in 86 - A Flight, Msgt "Duke" Ellington (then The Big Tex - Roger), Merwin and Roach were my initial trainers. B, I think it was Roach that started calling you George and he was calling me Ed. Then I had Rick Enfield on 78-0090 and the Davis Bechtold and SSgt Smith was my last DCC before I went ot mids with "Crazy" Lou Gonczy prior to getting out. I can remember a couple of times riding in the back of Gary Maze' expediter van sleeping off a hang over hoping my jet wouldn't have to spare out (he ended up giving me nickname of "Switch". Joni, you and Tim were working '90 the night it caught on fire a little bit. Some issue with the CPU - Tim was doing the engine run, you were on headset and I was fire guard - for a big dude he scrambled pretty good out of that cockpit. Good to remember the funtimes.

Hey Joni its been awhile. I was stationed there 85-92. You probably remember me Rich Barnes. I'm pretty sure you are the electrician who became a crew chief?
