How to read speed on taxi?

Always wondered why the F-16 has a tailhook, or how big a bigmouth F-16's mouth really is ? Find it out here !

I wonder. Is there any speed read avilable to the pilot on taxi to know on how exact speed he's moving?
I know the airspeed kicks in or gets alive as soon as the aerodynamic preasure builds up in the pitot tube which usually happens arround 70kts on takeoff but... Does the Viper has any sensor mounted on the wheels to give the pilot an actual speed indication with which he's moving arround the airfield or he just have to assess it by eye/through experience?

If you want to see your ground speed while taxiing you can go List, 6 on on the DED and it’ll display on the bottom right. It’s fed by the EGI, not the wheels.
