A senior test pilot who put his mark on the program (one of the first to push the envelope includes supersonic flights, high alpha and spinning)
40 years and over 5000 flight hours.

Absolutely. I'm also sorry to see him go and I also wish him all the best!
“Active stealth” is what the ignorant nay sayers call EW and pretend like it’s new.

What a resume', what a career.

Enjoy retirement Billy. You brought the F-35 truth to the masses..

Is this "Gums" v2.0? Remarkable career that anyone would be envious of. Congrats to him!

I think he has been a really remarkable spokesperson for F-35 (and Lockheed Martin). I think it was a very good decision to let him speak for the aircraft as much as he has done.

Alright... enough of the lovey dovey talk... someone go recruit him to this board now that he is retired. He can even pick his own handle.
Take an F-16, stir in A-7, dollop of F-117, gob of F-22, dash of F/A-18, sprinkle with AV-8B, stir well + bake. Whaddya get? F-35.

An excellent position for him, one that could allow him to showcase his fabulous career and service to Canada would be to get appointed to replace the current Governor General, someone who has totally screwed the pooch am dis on the verge of being fired.
