Darn! I was in the area, but according to the website the F-35 would only do the heritage flight, so I decided to get an early start on my 5 hour drive back to Galveston instead of going to the airshow.

Yeah, they had the F-35 do a couple passes before the heritage flight, and then a couple after. It wasn't a full demo.

Hopefully, they'll start putting the power loop into a 360 deg pedal turn, back into the demos, along with square loops and minimum radius turns.

Yes power loop is my personal favorate. F35 is the firstt non tvc jet that performs this maneuver.

Combine that with continuous enemy tracking via EODAS & the ability to attack with a HOBS missile and the F-35 should be able to get a shot off LONG before it's nose "on the enemy".
