Updating forum interface?

Have the admins at F-16.net ever thought about updating the forum interface from the honestly rather outdated system in use right now? To something more modern like "Invision" forum that's popular these days? (as seen here: https://linustechtips.com/main/ )
I'm sure many of the members would be willing to donate for such an update as "quality of life" would improve rather substantially. I realise that takes money and especially time, but that's of course just food for thought in the coming year.

What would be the benefits as you see them of doing that?
From a point of view of someone accessing it from Desktop/Phone/Tablet & Laptop PCs the lightweight and simplicity of the site is quite a plus - and I do get by on the phone fairly easily, even though I find any site/app on a phone a right PITA.
I can see that other phone / Tablets PC users may consider it less friendly on a tiny touch screen - but still difficult to compare because the whole mobile App/Web thing seems to be a mess with very little standards.

The is only thing missing in the forum for me. Maybe it does not work on my comps but I tried a few.
When I enter the forum and click "new posts" topics appear. But I can't jump to the first unread post. As there are multi-page threads, it's hard to find where it ended when I visited the forum for the last time.

I second that! Thank you all for the hard work.

And I can say the report button works.
