What to do about the spammers?

Spam issues have been hammering this forum of late, and I was wondering. Seeing as the USAF now has a cyberwarfare MOS, might it be possible for the editors/moderators/members to get some of our active duty friends (on a strictly volunteer basis) to lend a hand with the problem? Yeah, I know it's dumb, just casting about here.

The first thing is to never, ever patronize whatever they're pushing. Not sure how they would even know, but there may be malware hidden in their links.

I bet this would be a very popular spam protection service...
We need to draw up some contigency plans:
Do we want to make "kinetic strike" or make it "PC non-lethel"?
A law suit or a beat down, because I know some people, who know some people. wink, wink
Call the cyber police?

Stefaan, I love the way you think!
I don't like the way Stefaan think.
Why send a drone if you can send a flight of Vipers? Are you trying to make us all unemployed? I suggest we only send a drone in if the spammers have SAM's. Then, when they turn on their radars, the CJ's will take their SAM's out while the Viper strikers employ their ordnance. Keeps everybody happy and employed, and if all went really well, the drone was even shot down during the engagement (just to make sure that we don't have to many of those things).
Greetings to you all at the NSA and everybody else who is reading this on ECHELON.

Get your best technical writers to come up with a "bogus" story on how this website is pioneering new technology on how to combat spammers. You could make it really elaborate. Put up some fake "spam guard" banners and stuff. We're at a point in time where people believe ANYTHING they believe on the internet. Sounds like it's time to play psychological warfare.
