F-16ES ‘legacy’

Is it safe to say that despite its cancellation, the F-16ES lives on in the form of the Block 50/52 Plus, Block 60 and Block 70 Vipers since these feature advanced avionics and even CFT capability? Can these new Vipers be considered as ‘descendants’ or spiritual successors of the F-16ES?
