Local news had a picture of a canopy, and a small creator. The fact that no one has mentioned a pilot yet has me worried for that crew.

The pilot major Nour Faleh Razin from Iraqi AF
Title should read Safford, not Stafford. I had a feeling it was this area; I spent some working hours there this summer. If the aircraft went down in Greenlee County, I'm pleasantly surprised it didn't manage to hit part of the Morenci mine.
I'm a mining engineer. How the hell did I wind up here?

I know this is an old thread but im posting in it anyway.
Has anyone heard or found out why the iraqi jets crashed? All i ever found is the local news reports that really dont say anything other than a jet crashed and pilot killed. Im just cureous as these were basically brand new planes when they went down.
