Blue Thunder was another bad use of the F-16. The pilots were wearing Air Force System Command patches and the F-16's had no tail codes. The guys at Bitburg like to remind us that a helocopter got the better of the Vipers...

It also seems like there was some F-16s in the Sum of all Fears
Indeed, as well as in X2 where ANG F-16s chase the X-men aircraft.

It looks like there are no realistic movies featuring the f-16 which is a shame. The only film that actually had some dogfights featuring the Fighting Falcon is Iron Eagle though, the Arab planes were Kfirs. What I saw of the actual flying was good and I watch some of the sequences over and over again.
As for the movie trailer, I think I have that video but haven't watched it yet. I prefer films like Flight of the Intruder, Top Gun etc

The main thing is seeing the real aircraft actually flying and what goes on in the cockpit.

How about the movie AFTERBURN? While a movie based upon a true story vs being a shoot em up, it's still an F-16 movie. This is one that hits home for me because I was stationed at Kunsan AB from Sept 1981, right after they received the first 2 jets, and until Sept 1982, moving on to Eglin AFB 2 months before the accident in the movie. While I didn't know Ted Harduvel personally, I knew of him as one of our pilots.
Anyway, just I'd throw that movie into the mix as it's out there as well. As it's been a while since I saw it, but I seem to remember that the cockpit portions they showed in the film were of some strange aircraft I didn't recognize if I remember right...
