Hello there, I'm new to this forum. Just recently picked up the 1/48 Hasegawa F-2B and I'd like to know if Testors Model Master Acryl makes a shade of blue that is exactly or similar to the "Medium Blue" that the instructions calls out for. Appreciate any help...

Does it have to be acryl? The enamel FS15102 True Blue is a good match.

Yeah, its gotta be acryl. I just use enamels for detailing mainly. Funny, I just came back from the hobby shop and I was looking at that exact color on the MM enamel shelf! But it looks like I'll have to mix some paints together from some old Tamiya stuff I have.
I know this is off the topic, but I got hold of a Hasegawa F-16B and I'd like to make an Israeli Sufa. I have the conversions on the way but no decals yet (Isradecals is sold out of IAF-54 darnit!), but I'd like to get the paint (MM acryl again, sorry) ready. So far I only know of FS33531 Sand.
Anyway, when that F-2B is done I'll make sure to post it here! I'm also working on an Edwards F-16B by Heller (83-172, specifically, from the 1/48 TwoBobs sheet). Thanx for the help!

You still need FS34424-Sky Type S, FS30129 Dark Tan, and FS36375 Light Ghost Grey.
