sweet! what kit is that?
Our paint shop had a bad batch of primer once that turned the whole jet into about that shade of green/gray. What a mess to clean off after a week to drying in the sun.

cool
looks like some CBU 87/89's added on.
If you build one that is flying Iraq or Afgan ops be sure to use only four CBU's in a slant load (bottom and outboard stations on the TER).
When the fins pop out they tend to contact the fuel tank so we only use four.

Thanks again ACMI

Actually, it is Mk20. This was an experimental scheme from 1981/82 in wich they tested the Viper in the CAS role. Always wanted to do this scheme, and finally got around to it.

BTW. did a Charlie from 140FW 120FS, and on that one I actually loaded CBU-89 slant 8)

Nice, I have seen and it is a really nice model. I must say that this is one of the best models. You truly get what you did for this model. These are the rarer ones.I do find it quite interesting though that these pieces show up.

Return to Scale Models - F-16, F-35, F/A-22, F-2
