Hello,

I have an unfinished DS F-16A-10 NY ANG because I can't find any decals (except from Superscale) which is correct for DS bird. I got info that the aircraft given by SS decal (AF79-403) was used in DS but is the SS marking correct ?

Did the aircraft wear "Bavaria" nose art at that time ?

And, where can I got grey snake hear emblem carried during DS ? SS gives black snake head emblem.

TIA

Check photo references for the DS1 bird, World Air Power Journal did a Gulf War book and I think Squadron did too.

Experts-Choice did the gray snake head art for the later NY ANG markings but it is out of production - you might check eBay...

Experts Choice decal sheet 48-54:

I saw your model, Habu ! It's great.
But, I saw that mostly NY ANG F-16A at that time has light grey snake head emblem near the aft. canopy. I need the light grey snake head decal, do you know any aftermarket for it ? (Habu2, no, that expert choice is for F-16C. I have it. What I need is the small snake head near aft. canopy).
Thanks.

a-sidharta, ESCI kit 8702 has those marking too, it looks like they are in black (or dark gray) as well though, and only on the port side???

THAT's the problem...
DS birds have light grey ones... on both side I believe.

No can do...the decal is already applied to the model, as you can see in my pics. But the sheet I got it from is SS#386.
